In short

What we do with your data.

Who

Expert Exact in The Hague (Chamber of Commerce 71403817) is responsible for processing your personal data as described in this statement.

Why

To answer your question or request, to schedule a survey or job, to carry out the work and to invoice it. We do not sell your data.

Your rights

You can view your data, have it corrected or have it deleted. Email info@expertexact.nl or call 070 205 10 11.

What we record

What we keep, and why.

Request and quote form

Name, phone number, email address, postcode and house number of the job, your description and any photos you send. We use these to assess your request and to arrange a visit or quote. When you enter your postcode, we look up the address through the public address service of PDOK (Kadaster).

Chat on the website

The messages you type in the chat and the details you enter there (such as name, phone number, postcode and photos). Questions in the chat may be answered automatically by an AI assistant; a request or fault report from the chat reaches us and is followed up by us.

Phone, email and WhatsApp

What you tell or send us yourself, so that we can help you and get back to you. If you choose WhatsApp, the terms of WhatsApp (Meta) also apply.

Assignment and invoicing

If you commission work, we record the details needed to carry it out, for the handover file and for invoicing, such as name, address, contact details and the work carried out.

Visiting the website

On every visit the hosting service processes technical data, such as your IP address and browser, to keep the site secure and working. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. In your browser we only store what is needed for the site to work: your language choice, whether you have already seen the chat invitation and, if you log in to My account, your login session.

Legal basis

We process your data to prepare a quote at your request and to perform an agreement, to meet legal obligations (such as the tax retention obligation) and on the basis of our legitimate interest in a secure, working website.

Sharing and retention

Who we share data with.

We only share your data with parties that help us provide our services, and only as far as necessary: the hosting of the website (Vercel), the database in which requests and chat messages arrive (Supabase), the address lookup in the form (PDOK), the AI service behind the chat, our accounting software and, if you choose it, WhatsApp. The website fonts are loaded via Google Fonts, which means Google sees your IP address.

Some of these suppliers are based outside the European Union. We do not otherwise provide your data to third parties, unless the law requires us to.

Retention. We keep data no longer than necessary for the purpose for which we received it. Data that belongs to our accounts, such as quotes and invoices, is kept for as long as the law requires (generally seven years).

Security. We take appropriate measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised use. If you think something is not right, please let us know straight away.

Your rights

View, correct or delete.

You have the right to view your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or request a restriction of its processing. You can also ask us to transfer your data. Send your request to info@expertexact.nl. We will respond within one month.

Do you have a complaint about how we handle your data? Please contact us first and we will look for a solution together. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
